ARTISTIC DIRECTION

Live interdisciplinary performance presented in a pop-up gallery space in Chelsea, New York, in dialogue with a series of hanging Murano glass sculptures by Italian artist Marcantonio Brandolini d’Adda. The work featured an original live score by French composer Charles Derenne and choreography performed by dancer Megumi Eda. The performance was art directed by Mafalda Kahane.

Following the performance, Kahane directed a video work capturing elements of the live piece, which premiered at the Teatrino di Palazzo Grassi in Venice later that year (see below).
